from Lech:
As many of you know, the California Honeydrops were lucky enough to spend over 3 months out of this last year on tour with the incredible Bonnie Raitt. It has been an inspiring journey for us as musicians and people to get to know her, the band and the crew.
On my first night of the tour in Richmond, VA, as Bonnie pulled tears from my eyes with her legendary version Angel from Montgomery, I knew us Honeydrops had signed up for something very special. Bonnie’s unique gift for channelling the full range of human emotion into song is a world treasure. She does it night in and night out from the bottom of her soul, with grace, authenticity and a great sense of humor. On top of being a total musical baddass, she uses her fame to advocate for the protection of our planet and all sorts of other worthy causes. Most importantly she’s as sweet and fun a person as you’ll ever meet. We all want to be a little more like her.
So Bonnie on behalf of all the Honeydrops, I’d like to publicly say:
Bonnie, Thankyou! Thankyou for the awesome year on the road, for coming and singing with us in the dressing rooms, for chilling with us and being so damn cool. For your jokes and stories, for your music, your voice and for showing us so much love and support and inspiriation. We’re proud to call you our #1 fan. YOU ROCK! WE LOVE YOUūüíĖ

Dear Friends and Fans,

2017 Here we come! We are excited for another awesome year of singing playing and dancing with YOU, the best damn fans a little homegrown, independent band could ever hope for.  It has been the ultimate privilege to put a smile on your faces, a dip in your hip, and some honey in your earholes year after year.  It is also a great responsibility to be an artist and have the awesome power to inspire through song and dance.  It is you have given us this power by believing in us over the years and giving us the opportunity to grow as musicians and people. So thank you many times over, see you soon, and remember: PEACE and LOVE are here for us to choose, anytime and anywhere.

Now that you have read our email we sincerely doubt there is anything else important for you to do on your computer. We kindly suggest you log out, turn off, and hug somebody.
