Merch Sales to Support Haiti and Cuba

hurricane-relief-postTomorrow we’re beginning a national tour opening for Bonnie Raitt! We’re very excited to announce that at this weekend’s sold out concerts in Phoenix and Albuquerque, both Bonnie and the Honeydrops will donate net proceeds from merchandise sales to humanitarian relief efforts in Haiti and Cuba (later on in the tour, we will do this again to help support recovery efforts in the Southeast US). Information on the beneficiary organizations are below. 

Even if you won’t be at the shows this weekend, YOU can join us in this effort and encourage other artists to do the same! Please SPREAD the word to your favorite artists and bands.  If we come together, we can make a difference. Every little bit helps!

Hope for Haiti
Hope for Haiti’s mission is to improve the quality of life for the Haitian people, particularly children, through education, nutrition, and healthcare.

Haiti Communitere
Since the 2010 earthquake, Haiti Communitere has operated on the ground to amplify response, relief and renewal efforts in Haiti. Haiti Communitere’s mission is to empower international organizations and local leaders alike by offering expertise, resources and workspaces in Port-au-Prince, Haiti

The What If? Foundation
The What If? Foundation provides food and educational opportunities to underserved children in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Partners In Health
Partners In Health is the largest non-governmental health care provider in Haiti serving an area of 4.5 million people with a staff of more than 5,700.

Global Links
Global Links has worked in Cuba and Haiti since 1994 and 1996 respectively, supporting disaster response and long-term recovery. We are working with our partners on the ground to assess the current state of health services and materials necessary to protect health workers and mitigate the spread of disease. Financial support is needed to process and ship the materials that are requested by the health authorities.

First-Hand Aid
Your donation can make the difference in the everyday lives of Cuban children and families. Winter Tour Announce + NYE Party!

Hey Honeydrops Fans,

Hope you’re all enjoying your October, wherever you are in the world.  We’re about to embark on our next tour with the amazing Bonnie Raitt and her band, from Phoenix to Florida and many shows in between—and then to the East Coast for our own shows in DC, Philly, and NYC! 

We are excited to announce our West Coast Winter Tour!  Please join us for a very special GOLD AND HONEY New Year’s Eve show at the UC Theater in Berkeley!  Tickets for all Winter Tour shows go on sale tomorrow.

Burning Man and Beyond

Fall Tour starts TODAY!  We are headed to Chicago, Milwaukee, Kalamazoo, Des Moines, Boulder, Telluride, and Salt Lake City.  But first… a little party in the desert.  We are performing at Reverbia Camp (3:45 & Esplanade) on Wednesday at 5:30pm and Thursday at 11:30pm.  Can’t wait to see you all out there.

Summer Update and September Tour Announce!

We have been having a blast on our summer tour! Shoutout to those that partied with us at High Sierra Festival and Waterfront Blues Festival last weekend. We are looking forward to finishing off July on the East Coast in Vermont, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Maine. 

Also, we are excited to announce our September tour!  We’ll begin the tour at Burning Man and then head to Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Nevada, and Colorado, including our debut at the Telluride Blues & Brews Festival.  Tour dates here.
